Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) is one of the largest publicly owned electric utilities in the U.S., serving more than 356,000 customers in 13 southeast Nebraska counties. We recently launched a new responsive website to serve the needs of the public and their communication with OPPD.
We begun the project with extensive market research and usability testing to help determine the architecture and user interface. We worked closely with the various departments within OPPD to create a comprehensive website featuring, interactive maps, internal “My Account” integrations, full content management system for internal staff, new UI/UX interface in keeping with the OPPD brand, several areas of complex, responsive content and more. Additionally we did load balance testing, server migration and ongoing support.
