Come Ride the Wave

Wave Interactive is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible
for architecting, building and maintaining websites from specific design and functionality requirements. Applications are created on a variety of platforms including .NET, PHP, WordPress Magento. With our diverse client-base, Wave Interactive’s tight-knit team of engineers and designers work on a variety of ever-changing projects.

Duties and Responsibilities Include
1. Work with clients and team members to architect web-based solutions to solve problems
2. Convert designed artwork into HTML and add functionality via .NET or PHP and JavaScript libraries.
3. Perform coding to written technical specifications and visual design specification
4. Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified issues

Skills / Experience Required
1. Minimum 5 years of software development experience
2. Flexible attitude, ability to work well within a team
3. In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
4. In-depth knowledge object oriented design and programming
5. Understanding of web standards and implementation including accessibility and SEO concerns
6. Working knowledge of database architecture and design
7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
8. Experience with .NET Framework and/or PHP
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
